have been manufacturing
fine pewter products now for over 10 years. Whilst I started making pewter
model cars, my main business is now in reproduction pewter ware from mainly
the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts periods. In addition, I have just
introduced a huge range of pewter
fairy and fantasy products.
lso hot off the press are
some exquisite perfume
bottles with pewter stoppers, as well as a complementary range
of all-pewter bottles. These products can be supplied with or without quality
perfume.
y Art Nouveau and Arts &
Crafts ranges include large clocks,
heavy cast pewter boxes,
pewter photo
frames and candlesticks.
Many of the designs are copied, where possible, from designers such as
Archibald Knox, Charles Rennie Mackintosh , and his contemporaries from
the Glasgow school.
lthough
I can only claim to make certain items ' in the style of ' Knox or Rennie
Mackintosh, I make no apologies for trying, wherever possible, to copy
their works. After all, if these people were the best designers in their
fields, which they undoubtedly were , what can I possibly do to improve
on them? Changes and modifications are sometimes necessary to suit the
pewter casting methods available to me.
f you are
at all interested in the styles and designers mentioned above and what
was once called 'The Liberty Style', then you really must take a look at
the relevant sections of this site. It is doubtful that you will find such
a comprehensive quality range of pewter giftware to suit your tastes ;
please don't forget to check out the perfume bottle section also, where
you will find similar designs.
he fairies are absolutely
beautiful in highly polished antique pewter. I have female fairies, male
fairies, whimsical animals - all in a variety of poses and situations.
We were chosen to produce an official licensed miniature Peter Pan figure
-again in antique pewter - by the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick
Children , who were bequeathed the copyright to the story and characters
by author J.M. Barrie. The hospital receives a royalty for each figure
sold. If you are a collector of pewter fairies or Peter Pan memorabilia,
then you cannot afford to miss this range.
